Sydney Lions Soccer Academy is on the lookout for enthusiastic coaches to join the team in both the Mini Academy and the Academy:

Mini Academy Coaches

​

Looking for enthusiastic coaches who simply LOVE working with kids aged 18 Months – 5 Years old. This role is about giving pre-schoolers a FUN introduction to the game from the very beginning of their development, and less about the technical intricacies of football. Therefore this casual role would suit someone who:

​

• Loves working with children and seeing them develop.

​

• Loves performing and leading groups of children.

​

• Loves having fun while at work.

​

• Is reliable, and capable of delivering structured play sessions within a specific time period.

​

• Is a student in sports/teaching/drama or has past experience working with children.

​

Academy Coaches

 
Looking for soccer coaches who are passionate about the game, and love working with children aged 5-13 years old.

​

This role is about developing players of all levels in a FUN, structured environment, which is relevant to the game. Previous experience working with children in soccer is preferred though not essential, if FFA or equivalent sports related courses have been taken or is in the process of being taken.

​

This casual role would suit someone who:

​

• Loves working with young soccer players and seeing them develop.

​

• Loves leading groups of young players.

​

• Someone looking to develop a further career in coaching soccer.

​

• Is reliable, and capable of delivering structured soccer sessions that are relevant, organised and fun.

​

• Is a student in sports/teaching or has past experience working with large groups of children in sport.

​

• Has a true passion for the game & sports in general.

​
